Starting from the remote western side of the mountain, this route provides a quieter, more exclusive trekking experience before joining the popular Machame trail. With diverse landscapes ranging from rainforest to alpine desert, and a summit success rate exceeding 90%, it is ideal for both first-time climbers and experienced adventurers.

Your journey begins with a morning transfer from Moshi to Lemosho Gate. After registration, you enter the lush rainforest zone, where the trail winds through dense vegetation filled with wildlife and birdlife. This gentle first day allows your body to begin adjusting to altitude while enjoying one of the most beautiful forest sections on Kilimanjaro.
