Itinerary

This is more than a vacation — it’s a 13-day celebration of Tanzania’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.After your exhilarating safari, retreat to the turquoise waters and palm-lined beaches of Zanzibar, where relaxation meets cultural richness. From spice tours and historic Stone Town to barefoot luxury along the coast, your journey ends in pure island bliss.

Arrival in Arusha Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide. After a brief introduction and trip overview, you will be transferred to Hotel in Arusha. This hotel offers comfortable accommodation with amenities such as free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant serving local and international cuisine, and a relaxing lounge area. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and have time to rest in preparation for your safari adventure.

After an early breakfast, your journey to Tarangire National Park begins. Established in 1970 and covering approximately 2,850 square kilometers, Tarangire is known for its diverse landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and large elephant herds. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. During your game drive, you will witness the breathtaking scenery and rich biodiversity of the park. In the evening, you will travel to Karatu for Dinner and Overnight This resort provides comfortable lodging with modern amenities, including a restaurant, bar, and lush gardens. Dinner will be served, followed by a restful overnight stay.

Following breakfast, you will head towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. Established in 1951, the park spans an area of approximately 14,750 square kilometers, making it one of the largest and most renowned wildlife reserves in Africa. Serengeti is home to the famous Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. The park also hosts the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes—along with cheetahs, hyenas, and a vast array of bird species. After an exhilarating game drive, you will have dinner and overnight accommodation within the park, offering a budget-friendly stay while still being immersed in the wilderness.

Early in the morning, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. The crater, formed about two to three million years ago, is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, spanning about 260 square kilometers. The fertile grasslands and permanent water sources within the crater support an incredible concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, hippos, lions, elephants, and numerous antelope species. After a day of exploration and wildlife viewing, you will return to in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar, an island rich in history, culture, and stunning beaches. Upon arrival, you will check in at Kholle House, a boutique hotel located in Stone Town. Originally built in the 19th century, the hotel offers a blend of historical charm and modern comfort. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, rooftop terrace with views of Stone Town, and elegantly decorated rooms. Dinner will be served at the hotel, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere of this historical city.

Today, you will embark on a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO-listed site known for its narrow streets, rich Swahili culture, and historical landmarks. You will visit the Old Fort, House of Wonders, and former slave market before heading to a spice farm. Zanzibar, often referred to as the Spice Island, is famous for its cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. You will learn about spice cultivation, enjoy an aromatic tasting session, and have the opportunity to purchase fresh spices. After the tour, you will return to Kholle House for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, you will take a boat trip to Prison Island, originally used as a quarantine station. The island is now home to giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old. After exploring the island, you will head to Nakupenda Sandbank, where you can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch prepared on-site. In the evening, you will transfer to Sunset Kendwa, a beachfront resort known for its white sandy beach, lively atmosphere, and well-equipped rooms. The hotel features a beach bar, restaurant, and water sports activities. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

Today is a day of relaxation at Sunset Kendwa. You can lounge by the beach, take a swim in the turquoise waters, or participate in optional activities such as snorkeling or jet skiing. Lunch and dinner will be served at the hotel, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable day.

Morning: Set off on an early boat excursion near Mnemba Island, where you’ll have the chance to swim with wild bottlenose and spinner dolphins in their natural habitat. Watch as these graceful creatures leap and play in the crystal-clear waters—an unforgettable experience!

Midday: Head to The Lagoon, a pristine turquoise haven where you can snorkel alongside green and hawksbill sea turtles. Glide through the shallow waters as these gentle giants swim peacefully around you, surrounded by vibrant coral reefs and tropical fish.

Today, you will transfer to Paje, a serene coastal village on Zanzibar’s east coast. You will check in at Mahali Paje, a beachfront hotel offering stunning ocean views, an infinity pool, and a beachside restaurant. The rest of the day will be at leisure, allowing you to unwind on the sandy beach or enjoy the laid-back vibe of the village. Dinner will be served at the hotel before your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will visit Starfish Beach, where you can observe colorful starfish in shallow waters. Next, you will explore Kuza Cave, a natural limestone cave with a crystal-clear freshwater pool. You can swim in the cave’s tranquil waters and learn about its cultural significance. After the tour, you will return to Mahali Paje for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your final full day in Zanzibar will be spent at your own pace. You can relax at the beach, explore local cafes, or try water activities like kitesurfing. Lunch and dinner will be provided at Mahali Paje, ensuring a relaxed and fulfilling day.

Departure After breakfast, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of an unforgettable 13-day safari and Zanzibar experience.
