Itinerary

Enjoy a thrilling 3-day safari exploring Tanzania’s iconic parks. Stay in comfortable mid-range lodges/tented camps with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Day 1: Game drive in Tarangire National Park (famous for elephants). Day 2: Full-day safari in Serengeti (wildlife & the Great Migration). Day 3: Descend into Ngorongoro Crater (Big Five sightings) before returning to Arusha. Guided by an expert driver, this adventure balances wildlife, comfort, and scenic landscapes—perfect for an unforgettable Tanzanian experience.

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park. The journey will take you about 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Tarangire is known for its remarkable concentrations of elephants, and the park's landscape is defined by baobab trees, dense woodlands, and acacia savannahs. Covering an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers and established in 1970, Tarangire is famous for its annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo, which attract predators like lions and leopards. The park also hosts a variety of bird species, including the yellow-collared lovebird, African grey hornbill, and greater kestrel.

Upon entering the park, you will embark on your first game drive, spotting herds of elephants, giraffes, and wildebeests, as well as predators like lions, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas. After a rewarding morning of wildlife sightings, you will stop for lunch at a scenic picnic site in the park at 13:00. Following lunch, you'll continue with your game drive, exploring more of the park’s unique terrain and diverse ecosystems.

In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and head to Omega View Hotel, located just outside of the park. The hotel offers comfortable rooms with modern amenities, including ensuite bathrooms, a restaurant, and a bar. After settling in, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant before retiring for the night.

After an early breakfast at Omega View Hotel, you will embark on the journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive will take approximately 4 to 5 hours, offering stunning views of the Tanzanian landscape along the way. Serengeti, one of the most famous parks in the world, covers 14,750 square kilometers and was established in 1951. The park is renowned for its vast savannahs, iconic wildlife, and the world-famous Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras migrate in search of fresh grazing grounds. Serengeti is also home to the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos), along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and over 500 species of birds.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a lunch at a picnic site within the park at 13:00, followed by a game drive through the Central Serengeti. Here, the golden savannahs stretch out endlessly, with predators lurking nearby and large herds of herbivores grazing peacefully. Your guide will help you spot lions lounging in the shade, elephants marching across the plains, and perhaps even a leopard in the trees. The Serengeti's diverse ecosystems, from the open plains to the rocky kopjes (small hills), provide excellent opportunities to witness a variety of animal behaviors and interactions.

In the late afternoon, you will head to Serenity Lodge or a similar lodge for the night. This mid-range lodge offers comfortable rooms with ensuite facilities, providing a peaceful retreat after an exciting day of safari. You will have time to relax, enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar, and savor a delicious dinner while soaking in the scenic views of the Serengeti plains. The lodge also provides excellent facilities, such as a swimming pool and spacious lounge areas.

On your final day, you will rise early for breakfast before heading to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most unique natural wonders in the world. The Ngorongoro Crater is a caldera (a collapsed volcanic crater) that is home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The crater, which spans approximately 260 square kilometers, is often referred to as the "Garden of Eden" due to its remarkable biodiversity. Established in 1959, the crater has an elevation of around 1,800 meters above sea level, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, you will descend into the crater floor for an unforgettable safari. The floor of the crater is home to a variety of wildlife, including large herds of African buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles, along with predators like lions, hyenas, and the occasional cheetah. The crater is also one of the best places to see black rhinos in the wild. The birdlife is equally impressive, with species such as greater flamingos, white-headed vulture, and yellow-billed stork often spotted near the lake.

You will stop for lunch at a picnic site at 13:00, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the crater floor from above. After lunch, you will continue your game drive, taking in the variety of landscapes within the crater, from the lush grasslands to the soda lakes and forests.

Once you have completed your game drive, you will exit the park and either head to Arusha for a transfer back to the airport or return to Omega View Hotel for an overnight stay, depending on your flight schedule. For those departing the next day, you can opt for optional short excursions before heading to the airport, such as a coffee tour in the nearby region or a visit to a Maasai boma (village) to learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Maasai people. .
